				<title>The Connector and White Tail</title>
				<link>http://www.sorbauwharrie.org/blog/RideUwharrie/index.cfm/2011/8/22/The-Connector-and-White-Tail</link>
				<description>

				Hey - just wanted everyone to know that there are two trails that get overlooked quite often due to the lack of signage. I have updated the &quot;Trails&quot; tab but here is the map as well...

The connector is a new trail created by SORBA and is a wonderful example of what is to come.

White Tail was initiated by Don Childrey some time ago and was finshed off by local volunteers.

Enjoy!

				<title>A Brand New Day!</title>

				<description>

				Welcome to the Ride Uwharrie Blog - where everything is about riding in Uwharrie - the best kept secret in all of North Carolina.

If you know me - you know that I am a bit of an evangalist on the idea that Uwharrie can be a Mecca for Outdoor Enthusiasts that can appreciate the incredible green space and recreational opportunities that exist here.

Every so often I&apos;ll update the blog with either random thoughts or in fact progress being made in Uwharrie.

One such random thought might be - have you ever seen the overlook to Falls Resevoir from the Badin Lake Trail System?

If not, its a sight to see - its amazing and it emminates Uwharrie.

Talk to Nathan Davis at Gods Country Outfitters or Mark Hays of Middle Ring Cycles - they can show you the path.

Also - take a look at what www.visitnc.com has to say about Uwharrie in their where to go article.

&lt;a href=&quot;http://www.visitnc.com/where_to_go_article.asp?r=2&amp;s=2&amp;sg=7&amp;articleid=1077&quot; TARGET=&quot;_blank&quot;&gt;Where to Go!&lt;/a&gt;
