What's Happening @ SORBA Uwharrie

Welcome to SORBA Uwharrie - home of the Uwharrie Ride Center Project!  Uwharrie currently has over 60 miles of trails for you to explore.  SORBA Uwharrie helps maintain these trails and is always looking for ways to improve the riding experiance here in Uwharrie.  If you are interested in being part of an explosive new destination for mountain bikers and the great outdoors then Join SORBA Uwharrie and enjoy the Ride!

SORBA Uwharrie Ride Center

  Our first mile of new trail is complete!  Thanks to the hard work of our volunteers and Stephen Mullis and his crew!  The new trail starts part way down the fire road (on the right hand side) and flows through the national forest, weaving around on single track and drops you off at the Woodrun Camp where you can pick up Supertree or Keyauwee.  This is a great edition to our trail system as well as an example of what trails that are built properly can look and feel like!
